Founded in 1998, the Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman Vocational School is surrounded by world famous ruins and the natural beauty of Fethiye. Vocational training is provided in three administrative and technical programmes. Fethiye’s economy is based mainly on two sectors, agriculture (especially greenhouse production) and tourism. In order to foster economic growth, Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman Vocational School works in collaboration with relevant sectors to fulfil the need for qualified professionals in both leading and supporting positions. Currently, the school hosts around 30 academic staff and over 1400 students. For all the programmes, it is compulsory to complete an industrial training period of 60 days before graduation. Transfers to relevant bachelor’s degree programmes are possible for successful graduates. The medium of communication is %100 Turkish.
